It was a very wet Mareknowles farm that welcomed 51 riders to the third round of the yoomee summer series. On the hard route Mike Roberts took top spot losing 20 marks, 13 of these were lost on the slippery gulley of section 4. In second place was Mark Atkinson on 32 with Dan Turnock third on 58. Liam Robinson rode his Gas Gas to youth victory finishing on 52.

T White topped the inters class on the 50/50 route dropping 45 marks with Ally Williams taking his new Gas Gas to second place 10 marks adrift. The slippery banks on section 9 took the most marks with the winner losing 16 marks on this section.

Almost half the entry opted to ride the middle route with A Shaw winning the O/40 class and taking the overall win on this route. Second place in O/40 went to Beta mounted Ade Bellis was 10 marks adrift on 38. Henry Rosenthal was victor in O/50 losing 41 with Ken Roberts second on 54. Iain Robinson had a good ride to finish first in the novice class and second overall on 31. The most difficult section on this route was section 9 with Iain recording the best result on this section dropping 11 marks. Steve Garlick lost 32 to win the twinshock class. J Beresford was the only youth rider on this route and dropped 59.

With heavy rain the easy route turned out to be a lot harder than expected. The riders rode 8 sections 5 times missing out sections 5 and 7. Again the hardest section on this route was section 9. The muddy banks of this section prevented anyone from reaching the ends cards. Only 5 out of the 12 riders that started managed to finish the trial. T Sammon was the adult victor dropping 48 with A Barlow 6 behind on 54.
