Results from the John MacDonald sorry for the delay in getting them out . Congratulations to Chris Pearson on winning the John Macdonald trophy and all class winners. A big thanks to all the organsiers especially Ben and Gail and the observers and land owners. Slight amendment to the results I originally credited the Mike Leddy with the win in the 0/50 it was Scott Rowland mistake due to a typo.
Next trial 15th of October round 1 of the 6t9 winter championship open to all classes start 10:30 at rough hey Quarry more details
As well as this magnificent trophy the winner on the hard route gets a cheque for £50 .
Fast approaching is our John MacDonald road trial on the 23rd on Saturday September . This year for the first time we have decided to make the event enter on the day, so theres no need to enter by post but if you want to complete your entry form before hand we have one attached below .The format will be similar to last years but as its enter on the day and to avoid massive queues at section 1 riders will start at a number of different sections . Riders will be allocated a starting point on the day but can still ride with there mates if they wish. As this is a round of the Cheshire & North Wales Centre adult championship eligible rides wishing to score points in the championship must start at the section allotted to them at the start.
We have a busy period coming up with our own trial on the 19th August at Plattwood Farm the Man17 Dead Easy at Heaton House on August bank holiday Monday and the Sheffield and Hallamshire Rough and Brough Charity trial on the 3rd September .The venue for the Sheffield trial is less than 5 miles from the Hipwell Trial so really local lets see if we can’t get some Macs riders there to support a gate cause.
See the calendar for details and maps to the venue.
