The Beamish RL250 Suzzuki, was a mess when I purchased it and I completely sripped it down and rebuilt it.
New conrod and bearings, piston and all bearings and seals in the engine.
The wheels where stripped and re spoked by Sid’s Wheels, new bearings, tyres and tubes.
Seat was re covered and all parts cleaned but not to loose any patena.
When trying register the bike had great trouble as the DVLA kept asking for more information. Eventually I found out the reason, the bike had been registered from new but I knew nothing about this.
Dvla did release the original registration to me , reg 26th Feb, 1980.

The Yamaha XT225 Serow, is a Californian import and first registred to me 1st August, 2024.
I know it has the wrong frame cover on one side because at the time, I could not find a genuine cover, although this is a genuine cover, it is not quite right for this model.
I have fitted heated grips and hand guards, also got a rack from Japan, along with the Japanese marrket indicators and rear light assembly, as they are smaller and neater than the original US type, they are included in the sale.
new tyres were fitted when I purchased the bike and they have done very little work, 4023 miles on the clock.
